Skin Tightening
We offer two different technologies for skin tightening: the Laser Light based Alma Harmony XL ST™ and the radio-frequency based Alma Accent.
The Alma Harmony XL ST™ technology utilizes a safe, infrared light to heat the dermis below the skin’s surface. This heating can cause immediate collagen contraction. In addition to the immediate tightening effect, new collagen growth is stimulated resulting in continued skin tightening over many months. This combination of increased collagen production and contraction of the collagen matrix effectively treats skin laxity of the face, neck, stomach, and upper arms.
The Alma Accent is a Radio Frequency (RF) based platform for the non-invasive treatment of wrinkles, rhytids, sagging or drooping skin, and for reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Radio frequency precisely heats the inner layer of your skin (dermis). As the dermis is heated, a natural reaction occurs that promotes an instant contraction of the existing collagen matrix and a long term creation of new collagen as part of the body’s natural rejuvenation process. This helps your body return to the smooth, shapely and elastic skin of your youth. Radio frequency technology of the Alma Accent has been shown in various research trial to work on almost every area of your body to treat skin laxity, wrinkles, and reduction in cellulite. The Alma Accent is unique in that is provides dual layer RF thermo-therapy to stimulate the production of new collagen and improves skin surface texture. It is also excellent for firming the loose skin of weight loss, post-surgical or postnatal abdomen or thighs.
Both these treatments provides skin and tissue tightening without surgery, downtime, or pain. Patients can resume their normal activities immediately.
The procedure duration varies depending on the treatment area. A series of 5 to 6 treatments are recommended for best results.
